      <image:title>About - About Me</image:title>
<image:caption>I’m Roni Khol, a licensed psychologist working with professionals and young adults in the Bay Area on a variety of issues. I am passionate about helping people get to the root of their problems in order to achieve lasting change. I pride myself on being someone who is able to connect deeply with a wide variety of different people. I learned this skill growing up, as my family moved almost every three years, and learning to adapt and establish new connections became paramount. This carries over to my clinical work, as clients tell me that they are able to quickly drop their walls around me and speak from the heart. I am a Bay Area transplant of six years. While I have loved living here, I have also seen firsthand how much pressure there is to achieve, and how often one’s work performance becomes intimately tied to their identity. Although this pressure is not unique to the Bay Area, it is felt very acutely here. I feel I am uniquely positioned to help tech workers and high-achievers understand themselves within this pressure-cooker context.</image:caption>

<image:title>Home - I utilize a depth therapy approach. That means that my focus is on helping you get to the root of your problems, while gaining a better understanding and acceptance of yourself along the way. I offer a nonjudgmental and safe environment for you to speak from the heart. Together we can unravel the layers of internalized messages that are hiding the authentic you underneath. Read more about why depth therapy is different from other therapies here.</image:title>
<image:caption>Depth Therapy may be a good fit for you if: Nothing ever feels good enough. You’re hard on yourself and you worry that being more self-compassionate will make you lazy or complacent. You put on a brave face but you’re struggling more than anyone knows. Relationships either feel like a chore that you have no energy for or like a minefield where every word you say will be scrutinized. You’re the one who is there for everyone else, but no one is there for you. You tried therapy before without much success or you want to go deeper.</image:caption>
